Our GM Gives Fund

At Greater Minnesota Family Services, the staff have created a fund we call GM GIVES.  This is a flexible fund for children and their families, many of whom live near or at poverty level.  GMFS direct care staff facilitate GM GIVES, utilizing limited funds in creative ways to best meet the child’s needs and enhance their well being. 

Examples of where money from this fund has been allocated include after school programs, graduation, driver license, camp, books, educational resources, band instrument, G.E.D., furniture, clothing, etc.. This fund is not considered an emergency fund and is for one-time funding only. 100% of your tax deductible contribution will go directly to our clients as we are a 501-C-3 Charitable Corporation. GMFS will cover any administrative costs that this fund may incur.
