Diversity and Mental Health

Jessi Robin, MSW, LGSW, has over 25 years of experience working in human services and a history of working with multiple marginalized populations including people experiencing homelessness, trafficking victims, and LGBTQIA+. Jessi has been with Greater Minnesota Family Services for 3 years in the Intensive In-Home Family Services in collaboration with Stearns County. 


With an MSW, Jessi takes a leadership role in advocating for social justice and taking community action to better the lives of these communities by public speaking, board member/volunteer coordinator for St. Cloud Pride, chair/founding member of Humans Unconditionally Giving Support (H.U.G.S.), developing a therapy program as director for the LIFT program for Mama Dragons, and a committee member for Project Homeless Connect. 


She offers presentations on: 

  • LGBTQIA+ families, children, and parents 
  • Gender identity
  • Internal bias
  • Diversity in practice
  • Cultural competence vs cultural humility 
  • Homelessness
  • Unconditional positive regard
  • Unconventional interventions (i.e.: gaming as therapy)
