Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)

Make a Referral

Nurturing Healing Through Connection

Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) is an evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy for young children (ages 0–5) and their caregivers who have experienced stressful or traumatic events, or who are struggling with emotional or behavioral challenges.

At the heart of CPP is the belief that a child’s relationship with their caregiver is key to healing. Through joint therapy sessions, our trained clinicians help strengthen and support this vital connection. Together, we work to:

  • Support the child’s emotional and behavioral development
  • Help caregivers understand and respond to their child’s needs
  • Address the impact of trauma or stress on the child and family
  • Promote safety, security, and resilience in the parent-child relationship

Whether your family has experienced grief, separation, domestic violence, or other life stressors, CPP provides a safe, supportive space to process difficult experiences and build a stronger, more connected relationship.

Who it is for:

Children ages 0 - 5 and their primary caregivers.

Where:

Sessions take place in our SEED offices, your home, or via telehealth, depending on your needs and preferences.

If you're interested in learning more about CPP or would like to explore if it's the right fit for your family, please contact us.
